I recently had the privilege of photographing Elton John’s private party at Cipriani on Wall Street in New York City. Cipriani on Wall Street is a delight to photograph for many reasons, here are a few.  The architecture of this building is absolutely beautiful. It has a Greek Revival influence throughout the venue which offers an impressive backdrop to any party. Imagine you and your guests dining and dancing among monolithic columns and a 70 foot ceiling topped by a wedgewood dome. Cipriani on wall street features elegant gray marble floors and walls and delicate mezzanine railings. Cipriani Wall Street was constructed between 1836 and 1842 by Boston architect Isaiah Rogers. The facade of the building features twelve large Ionic columns, each carved from a single block of Quincy granite. Today the building serves as one of Manhattan’s hottest destinations. People flock from around the world to try the famed Italian fare and their famous Bellini cocktails as well as treating their guests to a wedding event that is second to none.
